Seajack is the parent of World Industries and other great action sports and lifestyle brands is seeking an energetic, on-site Customer Service / Operations Support team member to join our Irvine, CA based team to help support our thriving business.
Customer Service / Operations Support
We are seeking an energetic person responsible for overseeing our in-house customer service team and assisting the operations department. This is an extremely detail-oriented position, and qualified applicants must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, be personable, and be quick learners who are adept at multi-tasking. Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience is preferred.
THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION ONLY.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in all areas of customer service with reps, major and independent retailers, and consumers
- Order entry into ERP systems
- Online order processing through multiple platforms
- Work with the warehouse to make sure orders are shipped on time
- Work directly with international distributors and coordinate shipments
- Research customer inquiries and concerns, and respond in a timely manner
- Assist management and staff as needed
- Answer phones
Assisting the Vice President of Operations:
- Creating and updating sales and inventory reports
- Trade show management
- Major retailer management
- Other duties as assigned
- Possible occasional travel
Required skills:
- Customer service experience
- General knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to learn new software/hardware
- General knowledge of EDI and vendor portals
- Must be very organized
- Self-starter and team player
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
